Step out of the textbook and into the high-energy world of commercial shoots. Discover how my 'stylesquadma' crew turns vision into final film, with hands-on roles for aspiring stylists.

A behind the scenes look at the scale of a commercial shoot. From a scientist's study to a mission control room, each set requires meticulous costume design and styling. My training prepares you for the dynamic environment of large-scale productions.

Behind the scenes with the wonderful Ronit Bose Roy for a commercial campaign. Interns get to experience celebrity styling firsthand, learning how to manage wardrobe and collaborate with established actors on a professional set.

Fun times on set for a McDonald's India print shoot. This is a great example of a lively advertising campaign where my interns can learn about creating vibrant, energetic looks that align with a global brand's identity.

Reel versus Real from a shoot for the Indian Super League. This shows the grit behind the glory, from setting up shots in the rain to coordinating team jerseys. It's a fantastic look at the world of sportswear and athletic campaign styling.

On set for a Garnier and Mumbai Indians collaboration. Here you can see the crew discussing the shot with cricketers. Interns learn about the fast-paced nature of shoots involving athletes and celebrities.

A shot from the Garnier x Mumbai Indians ad shoot, featuring John Abraham with the players. This kind of project provides real-world experience in men's styling and working with high-profile personalities.

The technical side of an outdoor shoot. Setting up massive lights for the Garnier x Mumbai Indians campaign shows that styling is part of a much larger technical and creative team effort.

My styling work for a recent Air India commercial. This project involved creating looks for a diverse cast, telling a story that spans generations and aspirations, reflecting a modern India.

A 'Reel vs Real' look at the making of the 'Jaan Se Zyada' music video. This shows how we create beautiful, cinematic moments, from setting the lighting to the final take. It's a great insight into costume design for storytelling.

More behind the scenes moments from the 'Jaan Se Zyada' music video. You can see the camera crew in action and the process of setting up intimate couple shots, a key part of narrative styling.

About On-Set Experience: Live Commercial Projects

In my internship, you won’t just be standing around watching. You will be on the floor handling continuity sheets, managing kit bags, and assisting on live brand campaigns like those for Garnier and Air India. You are a working member of the crew from day one, gaining the practical experience that textbooks simply cannot teach.

The 60-second advertisement you see on screen is rarely the result of a simple shoot; it is the culmination of hours of meticulous preparation, lighting adjustments, and styling decisions. My commercial internship program is designed to bridge the gap between creative concepts and on-set reality.

Why On-Set Experience Matters

Fashion styling is not just about choosing the right outfit. It is about understanding how clothes move, how they react to heavy-duty studio lighting, and how to maintain continuity when a shoot stretches across twelve hours. My students get direct exposure to these technical challenges:

  • Technical Breakdown: Learn how to handle complex fabrics like tulle and satin under high-intensity camera lights.
  • Set Dynamics: Understand the hierarchy of a production crew, from directors and camera teams to art departments.
  • High-Pressure Environments: Observe how we manage last-minute changes on sets, whether we are styling cricketers like the Mumbai Indians or working on cinematic music videos.

What You Will Contribute

This is not a passive internship. You will actively assist in:

  • Steaming and Maintenance: Ensuring every garment looks pristine on camera.
  • Kit Management: Maintaining the inventory of safety pins, clips, and styling tools that keep a shoot running smoothly.
  • Continuity Sheets: Tracking every detail to ensure visual consistency across different takes.

If you are serious about building a portfolio that actually helps you land jobs, you need to know how to navigate the chaos of a professional set. My program provides the shadowing and mentorship you need to move from observer to contributor.
