Our Boarding Facility and Safety Protocols in Mumbai
I built my facility from the ground up because I wanted to be certain that every dog I train is safe, secure, and cared for, just like my own.
A look at the transformation of our space. We built Mitali's Board and Train from the ground up to create a modern, clean, and functional environment designed specifically for effective dog training.
A business that works with animals is only as good as its people. I take our hiring process very seriously, and this video details our extensive protocols, from background checks to a three month probation period.
About Our Facility & Safety Protocols
You won't find closed doors or blind spots here. Our facility uses glass partitions so we always have a line of sight, and we keep the ratio of humans to dogs tight so no one gets lost in the crowd. When you drop your dog off, you are not just leaving them in a kennel; you are placing them in a space where a senior trainer is always on-site, even at night.
When I started planning the MBT facility in Chandivali, I did not want to just build kennels. I wanted a space that addressed the real anxieties pet owners have. Most facilities leave dogs unsupervised at night or rely on staff who have not been properly vetted. I changed that.
Here is what you can expect from our safety protocols:
- 24/7 Supervision: We have a senior trainer living on-site. Your dog is never truly alone, day or night.
- Transparency: All our doors are glass. You can see into any room from the next, and there are no hidden corners.
- Staff Protocols: I do not just hire based on a resume. Every team member goes through a rigorous hiring process, including an in-person trial and a three-month probation period before they handle any dog solo. We also run police verification for every staff member.
- Tech-Enabled Safety: We use CCTV throughout, and no employee is allowed to use their phone while handling a dog. We focus entirely on the animal.
This is not a corporate setup. It is a home-grown space that grew out of my own necessity to find a place I could trust with my own dogs, Pantu and Chaddi. Whether you are looking for a short-term boarding solution or a long-term behavioral transformation, you get the same level of care.
Mitali Salvi
I am Mitali. Building this space was about creating the kind of environment where I would feel comfortable leaving my own dogs. It is not just a facility; it is our pack’s home where safety and clear communication are the only rules that matter.
