Commercial Transformations: Industrial Spaces Reimagined
Breathing new life into old shells. We turn forgotten warehouses and scrap into spaces that feel alive, honest, and ready for people to connect.
Step inside the Toit brewery. This short film walks you through the warm, industrial space we designed, highlighting the interplay of exposed brick, rich wood, and natural greenery that encourages people to connect and linger.
A view from below at the Toit brewery project. The bold, orange steel trusses are left exposed, creating a powerful structural pattern against the sky and surrounding trees, celebrating the building's industrial skeleton.
Every design begins with a question. This is our initial concept sketch for the Aste Bar, where we explored how to repurpose aircraft parts, from wings as bar counters to seats for patrons, turning scrap into a functional narrative.
The interior of Aste Bar, where an aircraft fuselage curves along the ceiling. We designed the space using actual wreckage, giving abandoned materials a new purpose and creating a one of a kind ambiance for visitors.
The bar counter at Aste Bar, shaped like an aircraft wing. Every detail in this project is a nod to its aviation theme, built from salvaged parts to create a cohesive and story-rich environment.
A seating nook at Aste Bar. The chairs are repurposed from an actual aircraft, set against a wall made of shattered mirror pieces, reflecting the theme of deconstruction and creative rebirth.
Even the smallest details tell a story. This glass tabletop at Aste Bar is supported by custom metalwork shaped like a hand and foot, adding a layer of playful artistry to the industrial, upcycled design.
About Commercial Transformations
Most spaces hide their bones under layers of paint or false ceilings. We do the opposite. We strip them back to expose the brick, steel, and history, making the structure itself the main feature of your commercial space.
We believe that a commercial space needs to tell a story. When we work on breweries, bars, or offices, we look for what is already there. We keep the original shell, the steel trusses, and the exposed brickwork, then integrate modern needs like lighting, sound, and comfort.
This approach is what we call adaptive reuse. Instead of tearing down, we find value in existing structures. We use discarded industrial scrap like old aircraft parts or factory equipment to build counters and furniture. This keeps our carbon footprint low and gives each space a character that cannot be bought off the shelf.
Technical work is the hidden side of this design. Transforming a warehouse into a busy restaurant involves structural retrofitting for heavy loads, creating acoustic solutions that look like art, and ensuring the space meets all safety norms without losing its soul. Whether you are planning a restaurant, a brewery, or a community hub, we focus on building spaces that feel honest, raw, and full of life.
