Reconnect with your stillness through guided forest bathing and mindful movement. Join me in the quietude of the mountains to breathe, ground yourself, and let nature do the healing.

"Stressed? Walk in nature. Sad? Walk in nature." Here I am combining my love for yoga and nature with a pose against a tree. A walk in the woods is a balm for any mood.

A walk through a lush, green forest path. The video captures the feeling of being surrounded by ancient trees and mossy walls, a key element of my nature immersion retreats.

Standing on a quiet road surrounded by the forest. The eldest trees are our teachers, reminding us of what it means to be connected to all life on Earth.

The gentle sound and sight of a small waterfall in the forest. Nature provides its own meditation, and my retreats are designed to help you tune into it.

My hand touching the vibrant green moss on a wet rock. This is a practice of grounding and connecting with the textures and life of the forest through the sense of touch.

A quote from J. Krishnamurti overlaid on a misty forest scene: "In mediocrity we have our being, but there are the trees, the open heavens and the inexhaustible riches of the earth."

"We are losing the feeling for trees, and so we are losing love for humanity." Another powerful quote from J. Krishnamurti that speaks to the importance of our connection with nature.

About this collection

These aren't strenuous treks designed to tire you out. We practice Shinrin-yoku, or forest bathing, which is about sensory immersion. Whether leaning against a Deodar tree in Sitla or finding stillness by the Indus River in Ladakh, we use these moments to lower cortisol and reset the nervous system. You are not just walking, you are learning to inhabit your body and the environment simultaneously.

Nature is often where we find our quietude in movement. In my Kumaon and Ladakh retreats, the landscape isn't a backdrop. It is an active participant in our sadhana.

Why Forest Therapy Matters

Forest bathing is more than a walk in the woods. It is a systematic way to tap into the nervous system's capacity to regulate. When we disconnect from city noise and immerse ourselves in the scent of pine or the sound of flowing water, we move out of fight-or-flight mode. This is the physiological basis of the peace you feel when you return home.

Where We Practice

  • Kumaon, Sitla: Set at 6,500ft, this is where we focus on deep restoration. We combine forest bathing with Cacao ceremonies and gut-friendly, organic meals to reset the body.
  • Ladakh: Here, the environment is harsher and more majestic. We practice by the Indus River and inside ancient monastery prayer halls. It is less about 'soft' relaxation and more about altitude-adjusted clarity and cultural immersion.

Making It Practical

The goal of any nature immersion with me is not just the escape. I want you to leave with micro-habits—ways to bring the forest's silence into your daily life. Whether it is a breathwork ritual you can do in your office or a specific way to ground yourself during a stressful afternoon, these retreats provide the tools to build a sustainable, calmer way of living. You arrive to rest, but you return to build a life that feels less chaotic.

I used to be the person who couldn't sit still, always jumping from one gym session to the next. Yoga and the mountains taught me that quietude in movement is where real change happens. My retreats are small and personal, focused on helping you build wellness rituals that stay with you long after you leave the forest.
