Wedding Details Photography
You spend months choosing the rings, the shoes, and the invitations. I document these small, meaningful elements with the same care as the vows themselves.

About Details That Matter
I dedicate specific time during your 'getting ready' session to photograph these details. Whether it is the texture of your lace or the way your rings catch the light, I find quiet moments away from the crowd to capture these items as they actually look. This ensures you have a complete visual record of the pieces that define your personal style.
While the main ceremony is where the emotion lives, the details provide the context. My approach to wedding details photography goes beyond simple product shots. I look for the story in the items you spent time selecting.
Why Details Matter
Your shoes, your jewelry, your invitation suite, and your accessories are physical memories of the effort you put into the day. I photograph these with an artistic eye, often utilizing natural light or creating a flat lay that captures the color palette of your wedding.
My Process
I typically carve out time early in the day when the room is quiet to document these items. I use my standard Sony Alpha setup with a focus on depth and texture.
- Texture and Light: I pay attention to the material, whether it is the shine of a watch or the intricate embroidery on a dress.
- Composition: I avoid clutter. I want the focus to remain on the object itself.
- Black & White Treatment: Just like my portraits, I often process these detail shots in my signature high-contrast black and white style, which works exceptionally well for metallic jewelry and clean, structured elements.
This collection includes a mix of candid detail shots—like shoes being laced up or rings being held—and artistic setups that stand alone as a record of your choices. If you have specific heirlooms or items with cultural significance, let me know before the wedding day so I can ensure they are documented properly.
