The first 14 days are the golden window for those peaceful, curled-up portraits when babies are most sleepy and flexible. I bring my portable studio, including specialized swaddles, soft blankets, and safety-tested props, directly to your home or hospital room. This keeps the environment familiar and stress-free for your little one, which is the most important part of getting natural shots.
Photography in the first few weeks is about patience. Whether I am shooting at a location like Sehgal Neo Hospital or setting up in your living room in West Delhi, I never rush the process. A baby who is fed, comfortable, and settled is the only way to get those iconic sleepy expressions.
Why Book Early?
During the first two weeks, babies spend most of their time in a deep sleep. This is when we can safely pose them in those artistic, curled-up positions using our moon pillows and soft baskets. As they grow past this stage, they become more alert and active. This is exactly when we shift focus to Milestone Sessions. From 3 to 12 months, we capture the 'tummy time' strength, that first gummy smile, and the curiosity of them sitting up.
My Setup
I know that bringing a newborn out for a shoot can be overwhelming for new parents. That is why I bring the studio to you. My inventory includes:
- Hand-knitted wraps and swaddles
- Floral touches and baby-safe decor
- Lightweight baskets and props that are easy to sanitize
