About The Newborn Chapter
Getting a newborn ready for a studio visit can be exhausting for both baby and parents, so I bring the entire setup to your living room. Whether you prefer a bright, airy look on a white backdrop or the moody, intimate fine-art style, we work entirely at your baby’s pace. This means plenty of time for feeding, changing, or just cuddling, so we capture genuine smiles when they actually happen rather than rushing through a rigid checklist of poses.
Why In-Home Newborn Sessions?
Taking a baby out in those first few weeks is a major production. By coming to you, I ensure your newborn remains in a familiar, sanitary, and safe environment. I carry a full suite of professional lighting, backdrops, and props, transforming any corner of your home into a studio. It allows new parents to stay in their comfort zone, meaning you are less stressed, and the baby is more relaxed.
Choosing Your Style
I offer two primary aesthetic directions for newborn shoots in Delhi NCR:
- High-Key (Bright & Airy): This is my most requested style. Using a crisp white backdrop and soft, natural-feeling lighting, these portraits are timeless and clean. They look excellent in modern homes and are perfect for displaying in frames or albums.
- Low-Key (Fine-Art): For a more dramatic, intimate feel, I use a dark backdrop. This creates depth and focuses entirely on the baby’s expressions and skin texture, resulting in moody, powerful images.
What To Expect
Newborn photography is not a race. We usually plan for 60 to 120 minutes depending on the package. Because babies dictate the schedule, we prioritize feeding and soothing breaks over strict timing. I love capturing the 'in-between' moments—a yawn, a stretch, or the way a father holds his baby's hand—alongside the classic portraits. My goal is to capture your family as you are, creating a lasting record of these incredibly fast-changing days.
