About The First Few Days: Posed Newborn Art
The first 14 days are the golden window for those peaceful, curled-up poses, but I always work at your baby's pace. We build in plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and diaper changes, so the shoot never feels rushed or stressful for you or your little one.
My Approach to Newborn Art
Photography in those first few weeks is about patience. I bring my mobile studio setup directly to your home or hospital, so you don't need to travel. My sessions are entirely baby-led—if the baby needs a cuddle or a feed, we pause. The goal is to capture those authentic, quiet moments while keeping your baby safe and comfortable.
Why the 14-Day Window Matters
Those initial 14 days are when babies are most flexible and sleep the deepest. This is perfect for those iconic, curled-up poses using soft swaddles and delicate props. Even if your baby is a bit older, I adjust the posing techniques to suit their personality and alertness, ensuring we still get beautiful, timeless portraits.
