Whether it is a traditional Maharashtrian Dohale Jevan or a casual backyard birthday, my goal is to document the raw emotion and rituals without making the session feel like a stiff, posed production. My team and I stay unobtrusive, letting you focus on the celebration while we quietly catch those fleeting, genuine interactions.
When you look through these images, you are seeing the result of a session designed to be low-pressure. Whether I am shooting a traditional naming ceremony (Barsa) in Thane or a relaxed outdoor maternity session in a Mumbai garden, my approach remains the same: I want to capture you as you are, not as a magazine spread.
For maternity sessions, I use professional full-frame gear like the Canon R6 Mark II, but the real focus is on your comfort. Being a women-led team, we ensure that intimate sessions feel safe and respectful, allowing you to relax during outfit changes or pose adjustments. If you are worried about feeling awkward, it is my job to fix that, not yours.
For baby showers and naming ceremonies, I take a documentary approach. I do not set up intrusive lighting that ruins the vibe of your event. Instead, I mix in with your guests, documenting the rituals—like the otibharan or cradle ceremonies—as they happen. You get a set of high-resolution images that tell your specific story, with sneak peeks delivered within 48 hours for baby-related shoots so you are not left waiting for your photos.
