Every session follows a different rhythm based on what we are capturing. For outdoor maternity shoots, we prioritize the golden hour at locations like the Gateway of India to achieve a soft, natural glow. Conversely, newborn sessions are intentionally slow and quiet, allowing time for feeding and soothing to keep your baby comfortable. My approach is to minimize stiff posing and instead capture the candid interactions—the nervous excitement of expecting parents or the messy, uninhibited joy of a first birthday cake smash.
My Approach to Family Photography
I believe photography should tell a story rather than just look like a picture. Whether I am shooting at a heritage precinct in Mumbai, a local park, or inside a studio for a newborn session, my goal is to document the connections between family members.
Maternity & Couple Shoots
I focus on the anticipation and the bond between expecting parents. I prefer natural, outdoor light during the golden hour to create a cinematic look. We can shoot at iconic Mumbai landmarks or quiet, scenic spots that feel personal to you. You are welcome to use the gowns from my client closet.
Newborn & Baby Sessions
These sessions are all about safety and comfort. For newborns (ideally 5–15 days old), I use sanitized props and soft swaddles to create those curled-up, peaceful poses. For older babies, milestone shoots like cake smashes are about letting them explore and have fun. I provide the props, banners, and backdrops, while you bring the cake and the energy.
Event Coverage
For naming ceremonies, baby showers, or birthday parties, I take a documentary approach. I am there to capture the rituals, the family dynamics, and the spontaneous moments of joy. You will get a mix of candid shots and traditional portraits to remember the day by, without feeling like you are constantly posing for the camera.
