Garba is in my blood. Whether you are prepping for a wedding sangeet or just want to feel that traditional Navratri energy, I teach authentic, high-energy moves right here in Bangalore.

Choreographing a Garba performance for 30 beautiful ladies was one of the best experiences. This video shows the grand scale and vibrant energy of our group performances, set against a colorful Navratri stage at night.

Bringing the Navratri fever to the corporate world! This video shows a Garba workshop I conducted on a rooftop at dusk. It's amazing to see colleagues connect and have fun while learning traditional dance.

This is how we celebrate a Gujarati wedding, even in Spain! I had the pleasure of getting this wonderful group of ladies grooving for a sangeet, dancing together in a circle with coordinated Garba steps.

My take on the super popular song 'Khalasi'! This was filmed when my baby was sleeping. It shows the energetic and modern Garba fusion style that I love to teach, perfect for anyone looking to learn trendy steps.

Just dancing it out during Navratri season! This is a seated performance showing expressive hand movements and the joyful spirit of Garba, which can be adapted for any energy level or space.

A moment of devotion and dance in Pondicherry. The twirl of my blue kurta against the beautiful doorway captures the feeling of faith and energy that I channel through Garba.

A close-up from a creative photoshoot celebrating Shakti during Navratri. This image, with its dramatic lighting and traditional elements, captures the power and emotion inherent in our festive dances.

Another moment from my Navratri 'Shakti' series with a friend. Our coordinated profiles and expressions reflect the friendship and shared energy that dance, especially Garba, fosters among women.

A joyful, forward-facing portrait from our Navratri 'Shakti' celebration. This shot shows the happiness and confidence that comes from performing and celebrating our culture together.

About Garba & Navratri Workshops

When I teach Garba, we go beyond just the steps. We focus on the 'Bhethak' (seating) and 'Dodhiyu' (fast footwork) techniques that make the dance look effortless and graceful. Whether it is a corporate group or a wedding squad, I ensure the choreography feels traditional yet fun, so you are comfortable on the dance floor during the actual celebrations.

I believe Garba is more than just a dance—it is a way to connect, celebrate, and let go. In my workshops, I break down the traditional Gujarati folk forms into movements that anyone can learn, regardless of previous dance experience.

My 2-day weekend intensive covers the essentials that you will actually use at a Navratri event: 2-Taali, 3-Taali, and Raas formations. We also dive into specific patterns like 'Hudo' and 'Popat' to give you the confidence to lead in a circle.

What you can expect:

  • Traditional Roots: I teach with authentic cultural context, explaining the significance of mudras and steps.
  • Corporate & Wedding Special: I frequently host on-site workshops for corporate teams in Bellandur teams in the Bellandur and Sarjapur areas. If you are a wedding squad, I can customize the routine to fit your specific song choice and energy level.
  • Comfort & Style: I will even guide you on how to manage heavy Chaniya Cholis so you can twirl with ease.

My approach is simple: I provide the playlist, the breakdown of steps, and the encouragement. You just need to bring your enthusiasm. If you are ready to learn, let’s get you dancing before the season starts.
