Dance is my prayer and my way of expressing joy, whether I am traveling or just finding a quiet moment at home. Here is a look at my personal dance reels.

I will miss these hikes in the valleys of Himachal! I was just rolling and dancing on the uneven roads with no music, just pure happiness. This is not about perfection, it's about the joy of movement.

No music, no planned choreography, just dancing to the rhythm in my mind on the banks of the Falachan river in Tirthan Valley. This is me expressing my love for dance amidst the beauty of nature.

When in Kerala, you have to do some Bharatnatyam! A quick, impromptu classical dance moment surrounded by the lush greenery of Kerala.

Amidst nature, we go back to our roots. Here on my trip to Himachal, I pay homage to Bharatnatyam, the classical dance form that is the foundation of my journey.

I had to dance amidst the beautiful nature of Himachal! A fun, lighthearted performance to 'Mast Magan', captured by my talented husband.

Heading back after making so many memories at this beautiful homestay in Himachal. A final dance to say goodbye to this lovely place.

It's a birthday ritual to post a dance reel! Following the tradition with this fun, casual performance in a comfortable kaftan.

About Dance is Life: My Personal Reels

These reels are not about perfect technique or polished studio lighting. They are just me finding rhythm in the middle of a trip or a quiet moment at home, often with my husband catching the chaos on camera. If you watch closely, you will see how I weave my Bharatnatyam roots into everything I do, even when I am just dancing on a mountain road.

For me, dance is simply how I breathe. You might notice that many of these reels are shot in natural settings, like the riverbanks of Tirthan Valley or amidst the greenery of Kerala, rather than a sterile dance studio. I believe you do not need a formal stage to express yourself. Whether I am dancing to a Bollywood track or performing a semi-classical piece as a form of prayer, my goal is always to keep it real. My family is the backbone of these videos, with my husband usually filming while managing life with our little one. This is exactly how I teach, too. When I lead my classes, I focus on the joy of movement, the storytelling through mudras, and letting go of the need for perfection. If you connect with this energy and want to learn how to express your own emotions through movement, my workshops in Bangalore cover everything from traditional Garba to Bharatnatyam-inspired Bollywood fusion. We keep classes simple, fun, and open to everyone, regardless of their experience level.
