Devotional & Festive Dance Performances
For me, dance is a form of prayer. Whether it is the high energy of Navratri or the quiet grace of a Shivratri piece, these performances are my way of offering gratitude, dil se.
A devotional dance for Ganpati Bappa in my home, performed in a traditional yellow saree. This is my way of offering prayers, expressing everything I feel through movement.
A powerful pose from a Shivratri stage performance, captured in full costume with a large image of Lord Shiva in the background. This shows the intensity and devotion I bring to my classical performances.
My offering to Lord Ram on the grand occasion of the Ram Mandir inauguration. This semi-classical performance in my garden is filled with devotion and joy for this historic moment.
It was a privilege to perform on Deepotsav for the Ram Mandir inauguration. This impromptu reel in my beautiful pink saree captures the celebratory and devotional spirit of the day.
Welcoming the holy month of Shravan with an invocation to Lord Shiva. It was a pleasure to perform this classical piece on stage with my talented students.
A small way of thanking Lord Shiva for every blessing on Mahashivratri. This solo performance in a traditional nauvari saree shows the powerful and graceful movements of Indian classical dance.
Grabbing a few moments to dance for Krishna while my own little one plays. This short, heartfelt performance to a song from 'Kisna' was filmed at home during Janmashtami.
Another dance for Ganpati Bappa Morya in front of our home idol. A simple, heartfelt performance filled with gratitude and festive spirit.
Day 5 of Ganpati celebrations at home! Winding up the beautiful festival with a lot of dancing, feeling Bappa's grace and blessings in every move.
Day 4 of Ganesh Chaturthi, and Bappa gives me the motivation to perform every single day. A joyful dance in a yellow sharara, filmed patiently by my sweet mother-in-law.
About Devotional & Festive Performances
When I dance for a festival, I do not follow a rigid script; it is about pure expression and connecting with the music. Most of these performances were shot right at home, capturing genuine moments of prayer and gratitude. I bring this same personal, expressive style when choreographing for your special puja or cultural event.
Dance has always been my primary language for faith. Growing up with a background in Bharatnatyam, I learned how to use mudras and abhinaya (facial expressions) to tell stories. Today, I blend that classical foundation with Bollywood and semi-classical movements to create performances that feel both traditional and accessible.
Whether you are planning a Ganesh Chaturthi celebration, a Shivratri event, or a cultural program, I approach every project with the same devotion I apply to my own practice. My goal is not just to teach steps, but to help you capture the true spirit of the occasion.
What I focus on:
- Storytelling: Using gestures to convey the meaning of bhajans and devotional tracks.
- Graceful Fusion: Mixing classical elegance with modern, expressive dance.
- Authenticity: I help you pick songs that resonate with the specific deity or festival, ensuring the performance feels meaningful.
If you want a choreography that goes beyond the surface and touches the heart, let’s connect. I work across Bangalore, helping individuals and families add a soulful touch to their celebrations.
