About Funny Faces & Exaggerated Features

When I sketch, I never use an eraser. I pick up a permanent marker and go straight for the bold lines. You will learn to spot that one unique feature on a face—maybe a big nose or a wide grin—that makes the person who they are. We will practice exaggerating that specific feature to get the biggest laughs, just like I do in my live sessions.

Aao (come), let’s make art fun. Whether you are a total beginner or just want to improve your sketching game, my sessions focus on real, practical skills. You do not need fancy anatomy lessons to start. We start with basic shapes. Are the eyes big? Does the nose look like a bulb? We zoom in on these features to bring the character to life.

What we cover in my tutorials:

  • Face shapes: Learning to quickly see if a face is U-shaped or V-shaped.
  • The Marker Technique: Why I use thick markers (Chisel or Bullet tip) on standard A4 paper. It forces confidence—no going back with an eraser!
  • Expressions: From 'thoda darawna' (a little scary) to pure funny, we learn how to stretch features to get that wow reaction.

If you want direct feedback, my 60-minute 1-on-1 video calls are the way to go. We work on your sketches in real-time where I can draw over your work to identify errors. If you prefer to learn on your own time, my custom pre-recorded tutorials break down a specific reference photo step-by-step with voiceover commentary. Bas practice karo (just practice), and you will be drawing amazing caricatures in no time. 😜
