Hoop, spin, flow, repeat! Our Hula Hoop sessions are full of energy and smiles, with classes available for beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels.

Strong minds, flexible bodies. On International Yoga Day, our little yogis flowed through poses and breathed in calm. We believe starting young helps children grow with balance and peace.

Exploring different styles with a Jazz and Contemporary class. We love offering a variety of movement styles to help our students become versatile and well-rounded performers.

From a young beginner finding his balance to an advanced student mastering tricks, our Hula Hoop sessions cater to all skill levels. It's a fun way to build a unique skill.

About More Than Dance: Hoops, Flips & Yoga

These sessions run on weekends, making them a perfect addition if your child is already busy with school or dance through the week. We keep batch sizes tight so each student gets actual feedback on their grip, posture, and flow—whether they’re learning a hula hoop trick or perfecting a gymnastic roll. It’s hands-on technique, not just watching and mimicking.

While we love a good Bollywood beat, we know that building a well-rounded foundation takes more than just dance steps. Our weekend specialized skills program is designed to help kids develop focus, physical control, and confidence in a way that feels like pure play.

Why these skills matter:

  • Hula Hoop: It’s not just about spinning the hoop. We teach students how to build rhythm, improve hand-eye coordination, and master tricks that require genuine focus. It’s a skill that builds core strength without the child even realizing they’re working out.
  • Gymnastics: Our floor-based sessions focus on flexibility and body control. We start with basics like balance and safe floor work, giving kids the confidence to move their bodies with ease.
  • Yoga: In a world that's always 'on', we use yoga to help kids find their 'off' switch. Through breathwork and mindful movement, we teach them how to stay calm, centered, and flexible.

The Malang Environment

All these sessions take place in our Ashok Vihar studio. We have sprung wooden flooring, air conditioning, and mirrors, ensuring your child is training in a professional, safe space.

Because these are weekend batches, we focus on depth rather than just speed. Our instructors (including Divya Mehra for our hoop sessions) are specialists in their fields, not just general dance teachers. They know how to break down complex movements into steps that a 5-year-old and a 12-year-old can both understand. Whether you want your child to burn off weekend energy or pick up a unique new talent, this is where they’ll find their groove.

We’re the Malang tribe, and this studio is our second home. We’re all about creating a space where kids can shed the pressure and just move. Whether it’s a hula hoop or a yoga mat, our goal is to help them find a skill they love, gain confidence, and have a total blast doing it.
