Makeup for Camera & Celebrities
For me, makeup for the camera is a whole different game from bridal. Here, everything has to look perfect both in real life and under harsh studio lights. I focus on making long-lasting editorial makeup that doesn’t just look beautiful, but also holds up through hours of shooting.
Working with Public Figures
I've worked with actresses and public figures, especially from the Kannada industry. It’s always a team effort - matching the look to the person, the event, and the mood. Sometimes it’s classic red carpet glam, sometimes bold colours, and sometimes just a soft, subtle balance where nothing looks overdone.
On-Set Experience
Shooting on TV sets like Zee Kannada means things move fast and you’ve got to be ready for anything. I make sure the makeup stays put, looks the same in every take, and no one has to stress about touch-ups. I’m comfortable with everything from traditional South Indian looks to modern, camera-ready makeup for TV shoots.
For Campaigns & Brand Shoots
I enjoy working with teams - photographers, stylists, models. Every project is different, so I adapt the style to fit the vibe, whether it’s smokey eyes, nude lips, or adding a pop of colour. I’m used to working with textured skin and make sure the base looks flawless but never cakey or fake.

Hey, I’m Himabindu. Been doing makeup in Bengaluru and all over for 5+ years now. Had my own baby bump photoshoot recently, and wow, standing in front of the camera felt so different! Worked with folks like Shwetha Prasad, did my first TV gig with Zee Kannada too. But honestly, nothing beats seeing my brides smile. That’s the real deal for me. These days, I’m also mentoring new artists – sharing what I’ve learned. Feels good.
