What is a primer? I use simple analogies, like comparing it to a wall primer, to make complex concepts easy to understand. We cover different primers for every skin type, from oily to dry.
Choosing the right concealer is not about a fixed rule of 'one or two shades darker'. In class, I explain why you must match the concealer to the specific pigmentation for a flawless correction.
How do you match foundation when the face and neck are different colors? I teach my signature technique of matching the face first and then brightening the T-zone to create a seamless, natural look.
Understanding eye shapes is fundamental. Here, I'm explaining the characteristics of an almond eye, which is one of the most versatile shapes for creating any kind of eye makeup.
