Wellness Garden Designs for Your Home
You don't need a massive villa to find your peace. We turn compact, boring balconies into green sanctuaries where you can breathe, stretch, and disconnect from the city noise.
A garden can be your personal yoga studio. This video captures a serene yoga session in a lush green space I designed, showing how your garden can become a sanctuary to root, breathe, and find your peace.
This video emphasizes creating a space to find your balance. It shows different yoga poses set against a backdrop of dense green foliage, illustrating how I design calming green corners for mindfulness and breathwork, even in compact spaces.
Finding stillness and breathing with nature. Two people practice yoga, including a headstand and a tree pose, in a beautiful balcony garden, demonstrating how a green space can support a healthy and mindful lifestyle.
This video connects the concepts of "root" and "rise" in both yoga and nature. It shows a person practicing yoga alongside a newly potted plant, symbolizing growth and finding balance on Yoga Day.
About this collection
If you want a yoga corner, we don't just fill the area with random pots that get in the way of your mat. We use vertical grid systems to keep the floor clear, install plants that act as a sound buffer against traffic noise, and check for the right morning light so your practice feels grounded.
When we design a wellness garden, the goal is always the same: to create a space that pulls you outside, even if you only have a few minutes. We don't believe in just adding plants; we look at the 'root to rise' concept—how the space helps you get centered and then energized.
How We Make It Work
- Smart Floor Management: For balconies and small terraces, we use wall-mounted mild steel grids. This keeps your floor clear for your yoga mat or a chair, while still giving you that lush, dense green look.
- Privacy Screening: We often use climbing plants or bamboo fencing to create a natural screen. It blocks out the direct view of your neighbor’s window, which makes a huge difference in being able to relax or meditate.
- Light and Airflow: We consider the direction your balcony faces. If it's a west-facing spot that gets harsh afternoon sun, we select hardy plants that won't wilt, ensuring your space stays green without needing constant replacement.
- Maintenance Support: A wellness space should be easy to keep up with, not another chore. We install semi-automatic drip irrigation for larger setups, so you spend your time practicing, not watering.
Make My Garden
I started Make My Garden because I wanted city folks to stop seeing their balconies as just storage areas. Whether it's a tiny yoga corner or a full terrace sanctuary, we design spaces that actually pull you outside. It’s not about perfection; it’s about having a spot that makes you want to wake up early.
