Custom Vertical Gardens & Living Green Walls
Don't have a backyard? No problem. We turn bare, boring walls into lush, living art that breathes life into even the smallest balconies and offices in Bangalore.
In this video, I suggest a natural and budget-friendly alternative to painting walls: greening them with creepers. I explain how plants like Ficus pumila can create a lush green wall over time, and I offer on-site consultations to plan such custom projects.
A before-and-after of a vertical garden installation. The video shows the metal grid frames being mounted on the wall, followed by the finished view of two lush, living wall panels filled with a variety of indoor plants.
A stunning example of a fully grown green wall. This video shows a building facade completely covered in Ficus pumila, creating a breathtaking living mural and a beautiful tapestry of nature.
About this collection
Before you pick a wall, think about your timeline and budget. If you need an instant result for a balcony or office, our metal grid systems with integrated irrigation are the most reliable way to get that dense, green look immediately. But if you have an unpainted, rough wall and some patience, training creepers like Ficus pumila to cover the surface is a brilliant, budget-friendly way to create a living tapestry over time.
Two Ways to Go Vertical
When ground space is limited, the only way is up. Depending on your wall type and what you want to achieve, we usually suggest one of two approaches:
1. The Structured Approach (Grid Systems) For most homes and offices, we use a fabricated Mild Steel (MS) grid system. This is perfect if you want immediate coverage. We mount the grid, attach pots with a mix of Ferns, Syngoniums, and Pothos, and integrate a drip irrigation line right into the system. It’s clean, modular, and works even on painted walls because the plants sit in their own modules.
2. The Natural Approach (Wall Creepers) If you have a raw, cemented wall outside, you don't necessarily need a fancy structure. Plants like Ficus pumila love to cling to rough surfaces. It takes a couple of years, but eventually, the entire wall becomes a living, breathing mural. It’s low-maintenance, organic, and incredibly cooling for the building facade.
Why Build a Green Wall?
It's not just for looks. A properly installed green wall acts as a natural air filter, helps reduce the 'Urban Heat Island' effect by cooling the surrounding air, and can even act as a sound barrier. Whether you are transforming a tiny balcony in Indiranagar or a large office facade in Whitefield, we design the system to handle our Bangalore weather. We focus on lightweight soil mixes to keep the load off your walls and plant densities that thrive in our specific light conditions. If you aren't sure which method fits your wall, we can do a site visit to check the structural integrity and light levels before we start.
