About Cricket Academy: Future Champions in the Making
We do not just put kids in the nets and hope for the best. Our training focuses on the immediate feedback loop: you bat or bowl, we capture it on video, and our coaches break down your mechanics right there. This 1-on-1 technical correction ensures that whether you are working on your back-lift or your line and length, you are fixing habits now rather than unlearning them later.
At Bangalore Youth Cricket Academy (BYCA), we believe that building a champion takes years, not weeks. Our camp program, led by Ranji cricketer Suneel Raju, is designed for long-term growth rather than quick, superficial improvements.
Our Training Environment
We provide a mix of artificial and natural turf wickets. While artificial turf gives you the consistent bounce needed for repetitive technical drills, our natural turf setups provide the uneven challenges of a real match. This combination is essential for developing adaptability.
The Curriculum
- Technical Drills: Focus on stance correction, run-up optimization, and follow-through. We use cone drills and ladder runs to boost speed and reflexes alongside batting practice.
- Video Analysis: We film your sessions so you can see your stance or action from the perspective of an opponent or coach. This visual feedback is often the fastest way to fix a technical flaw.
- Match Simulation: The nets are not just for standing around. We create high-pressure scenarios, like defending 6 runs in the final over, to build the mental toughness required for actual competition.
