About Training and Skill Development
We don't just rely on standard nets. Every session incorporates specific technical drills—whether it's using our bowling machines for high-speed batting practice or sidearm throwdowns for reflex training. Our coaches maintain a 1:15 ratio to ensure every player receives personal correction during their two-hour slot, keeping the intensity high whether you are training on our matting or astro turf wickets.
At Magadi Cricket Academy, practice is about more than just hitting balls. We treat training as the foundational work required for match-day success. Whether you are training at our Vajarahalli center near KSIT College or our ISRO Layout facility in JP Nagar, the approach remains the same: discipline first.
We structure our sessions to mimic match conditions. Every two-hour slot begins with a thirty-minute fitness regimen including ladder drills and shuttle runs, because cricket is as much about athleticism as it is about skill. This is followed by extensive net practice on matting and astro turf wickets. For players needing specific technical correction, we utilize bowling machines and sidearm throwdowns, allowing for hundreds of deliveries in a single session—volume that traditional nets cannot provide.
Our coaching ratio stays between 1:15 and 1:20. This ensures that every student gets individual attention from our coaches. We are not just running a camp; we are preparing players for KSCA zonal selections. You will see our students practicing everything from their delivery stride accuracy to power hitting.
