Our Daily Cricket Training Routine in Mumbai
Cricket is not just about the match day; it is about what you do in the nets every single morning. Take a look at the discipline, sweat, and technique that go into building a complete cricketer at our academy.
A typical morning practice session. We start with warm-ups, move to fielding and net sessions, and always include discussions about strategy and technique.
Keep your eye on the ball. We use high-quality red and white leather balls in our training to simulate real match conditions for all formats of the game.
About Our Daily Grind
Every session we run is designed to solve a specific problem, not just keep you busy hitting balls. Whether we are at the dusty, turning tracks of Cross Maidan or our indoor nets in Kurla, we use high-grade leather balls to simulate real match speed. You aren't here for mindless practice; you are here to learn how to adjust your footwork, read the release point, and handle the pressure of a live delivery.
Why Consistency Beats Talent
Many players come to me asking for a 'quick fix' to hit harder. My answer is simple: cricket is a marathon. Our daily routine is built on the philosophy of 'adjustment.' We start with warm-ups to get the body ready, then move into high-intensity fielding, reflex drills, and net sessions.
Our Training Locations
We train where the game lives.
- Cross Maidan/Karnataka Sports Ground: Outdoor training on red soil helps you master spin and variable bounce.
- Kurla Indoor Nets: Ideal for keeping your touch sharp, even during the rainy Mumbai monsoon.
The Technical Edge
My coaching is not about repeating the same shot a thousand times. We focus on:
- Video Analysis: Using smartphones to check your trigger movement and balance in real-time.
- RoboArm Drills: I use a sidearm to generate 130kmph+ pace. If you can handle this in the nets, the match feels slow.
- Situational Simulation: We practice 'survival mode'—batting when the ball is swinging—and 'slog overs' when you need to clear the ropes.
Remember, 'sitaron ke aage jahan aur bhi hai.' Your training is never finished, but the process must be disciplined.
