My Musical Journey: From Corporate to Vocal Coaching

I didn't take the traditional path to becoming a vocal coach. I walked away from the 9-to-5 to chase the music, and I honestly wouldn't trade this chaotic, beautiful life for anything.

This sums up my big life decision. After two degrees and two corporate jobs, I quit to pursue music full-time. It was a scary leap, but it led me to my true passion, which I now share with my students.

Another childhood photo where I was always drawn to being a teacher. This dream has been with me for a long time, and it's why I'm so passionate about helping others find their voice.

This was my choir back in 2005. My choir master taught me the discipline and fundamentals of music from a young age, and I carry those lessons of hard work and dedication into my own teaching style.

The movie "School of Rock" was a huge inspiration for me. Jack Black's character showed me that teaching music could be fun, energetic, and unconventional, which is the exact vibe I aim for in my classes.

About this collection

People ask if it was scary to quit a stable corporate gig to sing full-time, and the answer is absolutely. But learning to sing is a lot like that career change: it requires unlearning the rules of how you think things should be done. When we sit down in my studio, we aren't just doing scales. We are figuring out how to let your actual voice break through the noise.

My musical journey wasn't a straight line. It started with playing teacher using my mom's dupatta, years of choir marathons, and eventually, two degrees that I barely touch now. I spent years in the corporate grind before I realized my soul wasn't in spreadsheets—it was in harmonies, vocal range, and the absolute chaos of a great parody song.

I'm a vocal coach here in Bengaluru, and my philosophy is simple. You don't need to be perfect to start. Whether you are hunting for beginner singing lessons, looking to fix your diaphragmatic breathing, or just need a safe space to get over stage fright, we work on it together.

My sessions combine technical vocal training with the kind of real talk you don't get in a typical music school. We break down your favorite songs, work on mic technique, and make sure you are having a blast doing it. If you are a Malayali, tell me—we can even try some Malayalam songs, and I will do my absolute best not to butcher the pronunciation! This studio is a judgment-free zone. If you want to sing Pop, Rock, or R&B, I am here to help you find your unique sound.
