Songwriting and Instrument Coaching with Livia
Beyond covering the greats, I love crafting my own melodies and strumming the ukulele. If you want to find your unique sound or get comfy with an instrument, you are in the right place.
This is a sneak peek of an original song I wrote called 'Sigh, love'. Songwriting is a huge part of my musical journey, and in our sessions, I can help you find your own unique voice and maybe even write your own music.
A simple ukulele cover of Rihanna's "Love on the Brain." Playing an instrument while singing is a fantastic skill for any vocalist, and the ukulele is a great, accessible place to start.
Here's a happy little ukulele cover of "Sunday Morning" by Maroon 5. This is a great example of how you can take a popular song and create your own simple, stripped-down version.
Just a quiet moment of me working on a new song at the piano. The process of creating music is a journey, and I can guide you through the steps of bringing your own musical ideas to life.
About this collection
Writing your own music does not have to be some scary, high-pressure thing. In our sessions, we strip away the theory-heavy intimidation and focus on finding your specific style, whether that is banging out chords on a piano or keeping it chill with a ukulele. If you have a melody stuck in your head but no clue how to finish it, we will get it out and onto the page together.
When I am not teaching or gigging, I am usually glued to my piano or ukulele, trying to turn random thoughts into something that sounds like actual music. If you have ever felt intimidated by the idea of songwriting or learning an instrument, do not stress—it is honestly just about playing and seeing what sticks.
My approach to songwriting is super hands-on and tailored to where you are at. We do not start with dry theory. Instead, we start with your vibe. If you are a beginner wanting to pick up the ukulele, I will show you the basic chords that unlock hundreds of songs. If you are a singer looking to add piano accompaniment to your set, we will work on bridging that gap between singing and playing.
I work with people who want to:
- Write their first original song or parody.
- Learn the ukulele or piano basics to accompany their own voice.
- Get comfortable with the creative process without the performance pressure.
Everything happens in my Vijayanagar studio, which is a total judgment-free zone. It is just you, me, and whatever instruments we are playing with that day. We will keep the sessions fun, raw, and genuinely useful, focusing on the techniques that actually matter for your sound. Whether you are a complete beginner or just stuck in a creative rut, we will break through it together.
