About Welcome, Little One: Newborn Portraits
Newborn sessions run entirely on your baby's clock, not a rigid schedule. Whether we are at one of my studios in Bangalore, Coimbatore, and Erode, or at your home, I always plan for extra time for feeding, soothing, and diaper changes so your little one stays calm and comfortable throughout the session.
Your Baby's First Days
I believe the best newborn portraits happen when everyone is relaxed. I don't believe in forcing babies into stiff, unnatural poses. Instead, I focus on gentle, safe positions that highlight your baby’s delicate features—the curl of a finger, the soft pout of lips, or that peaceful, sleepy expression.
Studio vs. Home Sessions
- In-Studio: My studios in JP Nagar and Mahadevapura (Bangalore), Peelamedu (Coimbatore), and Sampath Nagar (Erode) are designed to be cozy and safe environments. They come fully stocked with props, outfits, and wraps, so you don't need to bring a thing.
- At-Home: If you prefer to stay in your own space, I can bring the studio to you. We can use natural window light and the comfort of your own nursery to create authentic, intimate family portraits.
When to Book
Most families reach out to me during the second or third trimester to secure a tentative date. Newborn photography is best done within the first 15 days of life when babies are at their sleepiest and most flexible. However, I am always happy to accommodate later sessions if you decide to capture these memories after the initial weeks have passed.
Including the Whole Family
Your newborn session isn't just about the baby. I love including parents and siblings to document the very beginning of your new family story. We can capture those first tender kisses from an older sibling or the protective embrace of a parent. It is about documenting the love that is already filling your home.
