What sets our approach apart is our small group setting, with no more than seven children per batch. This allows us to move away from rigid, scripted lessons and instead focus on individual observation—whether it’s helping a child build the confidence to hold a pencil or guiding them through sensory play. You will find our classrooms are messy, active, and designed for genuine discovery.

We started Little Red Hen because we wanted a place that feels like a home rather than a school. Our philosophy is simple: children learn best when they are curious, not when they are following a set of instructions. By mixing Montessori-inspired wooden apparatus with play-way methodology, we create an environment where math is a puzzle and reading is an adventure.

Whether you are looking for our preschool program or full-day daycare, our Kothanur and Thanisandra campuses are designed to be safe havens away from the city rush.
- Small Batches: With a 1:10 to 1:12 teacher-student ratio, every child gets noticed. If a child needs help with fine motor skills or is struggling with a concept, we adjust our approach to meet them where they are.
- Real-World Skills: Through our Play Market days and supervised cooking sessions, children learn practical life skills alongside academic foundations like Jolly Phonics.
- Safe Environment: Our premises are under CCTV monitoring, and we prepare fresh, vegetarian meals in-house to ensure every child is well-fed and energized.
Frequently Asked Questions
What are your school timings? Our core preschool program runs from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday. We also offer full-day daycare until 6:30 PM.
Do you provide meals? Yes. For our daycare and full-day students, we provide fresh, in-house vegetarian meals, including lunch and evening snacks, prepared with kid-friendly spices.
How do you handle children who are new to school? We prioritize comfort first. We sit, play, and build a bond with the child before focusing on any academic tasks. We want them to feel happy to walk through our doors every morning.
