Breathwork and Relaxation Classes in DLF Phase 1
Slow down and reconnect with yourself through guided pranayama and mindful relaxation. We turn every session into a work-in that calms your nervous system and helps you find genuine stillness.
A quiet moment of focus on pranayama, or conscious breathing. This simple practice of alternate nostril breathing is a powerful tool to center the mind and prepare the body for deeper states of relaxation.
From dynamic balancing poses to the complete surrender of Savasana. This shows the full arc of a class, ending in stillness to absorb the practice and find deep rest.
After flowing through poses, we create space for quiet reflection and rest. The final moments of class in Savasana are essential for integrating the physical work and calming the mind.
About Breathwork & Relaxation
We do not believe in simply ending a class with a quick rest. Our approach integrates specific pranayama techniques like Nadi Shodhana (alternate nostril breathing) directly into your flow, ensuring you transition from physical movement to a state of calm before you leave the studio. It is about actively shifting your nervous system from a state of stress to one of deep stillness.
Why We Focus on the 'Work-In'
Most of us live our lives on high alert. Between work, commuting, and daily pressures, our nervous systems rarely get a chance to reset. In our Breathwork & Relaxation sessions, we treat the mat as a sanctuary. You are not here to perform; you are here to recover.
What to Expect
Classes are capped at 10 to 15 students to maintain a quiet, intimate atmosphere. We begin by warming up the body, but the focus quickly shifts to the breath. You will practice:
- Conscious Pranayama: We guide you through controlled breathing exercises to lower your heart rate and improve oxygen flow.
- Mindful Movement: Using props like yoga wheels and blocks, we open up tension-heavy areas like the hips and shoulders, which are often where we store stress.
- Guided Savasana: We end every session with a dedicated period of deep relaxation. This is where the physical work integrates, and you allow your mind to fully settle.
Our Approach in Gurugram
We teach out of our studio in DLF Phase 1. You will hear us say things like, 'Chalo, ek deep breath lete hain' (Let's take a deep breath) to keep the instruction grounded and present. Whether you are a total beginner who has never sat for meditation or someone with years of practice, you will find a place here. The goal is simple: leave feeling lighter than when you walked in.
