You might notice that none of the mothers here look like they are holding their breath. That is intentional. I focus on natural, guided movement rather than stiff posing, especially in my Bellandur studio where we control the light and comfort. Whether you choose a classic gown or your favorite jeans, my goal is to ensure you feel like yourself, just a bit more radiant.
This featured collection brings together the diverse ways I document parenthood, from quiet, minimalist studio portraits to lively outdoor family sessions. When you look through these images, you are seeing a mix of my three core approaches: the clean, classic look of my Bellandur studio, the soft light of garden photography, and the modern, bold style that some parents prefer.
Why these images matter
My process begins with comfort. If you are worried about feeling awkward, I guide you through the posing process, so we capture authentic reactions rather than forced smiles. I intentionally avoid heavy editing that makes skin look plastic, preferring to enhance the natural glow that is so unique to this season of life.
Preparing for your session
- Timing: The best time to book your maternity session is between 28 and 33 weeks. This is usually when you feel your best and the bump is perfectly prominent.
- Wardrobe: You have access to my studio gowns for those dramatic, flowing shots, or you can bring your own outfit—like a blazer or casual wear—for a more modern, lifestyle feel.
- Location: We can stay in my climate-controlled Bellandur studio or head to an outdoor location in Bengaluru if you prefer natural light and greenery.
My priority is to turn these moments into tangible memories. Whether it is a framed print for your wall or a digital album you share with family, these images are meant to be held and looked at years from now.
