Family and Sibling Maternity Sessions

When bringing kids to a shoot, the secret isn't getting them to pose perfectly. It is about letting them be themselves. I always suggest starting our outdoor session with a little playtime in the park so the kids feel comfortable before we bring the camera out. This approach makes the difference between forced smiles and genuine, happy photos.

Including your partner and older children in a maternity photoshoot adds a layer of depth to your story. It isn't just about the baby bump; it is about the transition your family is going through. Whether we are in my Bellandur studio or out in a park around Sarjapur, my goal is to facilitate an environment where you don't feel like you are being watched by a lens.

Why include the family?

Your older child is likely experiencing their own range of emotions—excitement, curiosity, maybe even a little confusion. By including them, we create a record of this exact moment in your lives. I use gentle prompts rather than rigid posing, which helps kids relax and interact with you naturally. If they want to give the belly a hug, bring a toy, or just sit with you, we make that part of the session.

Choosing the right session

For family and sibling shoots, I recommend either the Outdoor Lifestyle Session or the Premium Creative Studio Package.

• Outdoor Lifestyle: These are ideal if you want a relaxed, natural feel. We can head to a garden or park in Bengaluru or Hyderabad. This setting allows children to move freely, which leads to more candid interactions.
• Premium Creative Studio: If you prefer a themed look, this package gives us more time (up to 3.5 hours). It is perfect if you have an older sibling who needs some downtime or breaks during the shoot, ensuring they stay happy throughout.

Since these sessions involve more people, we typically schedule outdoor shoots during sunrise or sunset to catch the best light and keep everyone comfortable. If you have specific ideas or a family tradition you want to include, let me know when we chat.
