About Newborn Treasures (The First 10 Days)
A newborn session isn't just a photoshoot, it is a 4-hour experience designed entirely around your baby's rhythm. We factor in plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and diaper changes, so your little one stays comfortable. Our job is to work around their schedule, not the other way around, ensuring we capture those peaceful portraits without any rush or stress.
Why the first 10 days matter
There is a fleeting window, usually between days 5 and 15, when babies are naturally sleepy and prefer to stay curled up in that fetal position. This is the 'Newborn Magic' phase. During this time, they are more comfortable with the gentle posing and wrapping techniques we use. It allows us to create those classic, timeless portraits that you will cherish for decades.
Your baby’s safety is our priority
Photography is our passion, but safety is our rule. We have been certified by Dabboo Ratnani, and we apply that rigorous training to every single session. We never force a pose. If a baby isn't comfortable, we change the setup. Our Horamavu studio is fully temperature-controlled and prepped with sanitized, premium knitted fabrics and props, so you can walk in knowing your newborn is in experienced, caring hands.
What to expect at our studio
Our sessions are not about rapid-fire clicking. We create a calm environment with soft lighting and consistent temperatures.
- Bean Bag Flow: We use specific bean bags that support the baby's neck and spine, allowing for natural, safe positioning.
- Prop Selection: From wooden moon cradles to rustic beds, our props are chosen for stability and comfort.
- Parental Involvement: We encourage family portraits during every session. We want to capture the connection—the 'Jo Tumse Jud Gaye Dhage'—between you and your newest addition.
We provide all the outfits, headbands, and wraps. You just bring your baby and the essentials for feeding. We handle the rest, from the styling to the final retouched files delivered to your cloud link.
