Featured Mehendi Designs by Megha
A glimpse into my signature style. From intricate bridal patterns to custom storytelling designs, here is a collection of the henna art I love creating for my brides.
This is the kind of full bridal mehendi I love to create. It's rich with traditional details like tiny elephants for good luck and lotus flowers for purity, all brought together in a symmetrical design that covers the hands and wrists beautifully.
Watch how I create a perfectly uniform grid of lotus motifs. I focus on steady, clean lines to make sure every element is sharp and beautiful, showing the precision that goes into my henna art.
Your mehendi can tell your love story. For this bride, I included custom portraits of the couple inside ornate floral mandalas, making her bridal henna a truly personal keepsake of her special day.
The best feeling is seeing a happy bride enjoying her mehendi. This shot captures the fun and excitement of a wedding celebration, with the intricate henna design being a central part of her look.
The peacock is a timeless symbol of grace and beauty in Indian weddings. I love making it the centerpiece of a design, with its detailed feathers flowing across the hand, surrounded by delicate floral and geometric patterns.
The back of the hands is a beautiful canvas. This modern Arabic-inspired design uses bold shapes, negative space, and fine, flowing patterns to create a look that is both elegant and striking.
Don't forget your feet! This design features a central floral mandala, with delicate patterns on the toes and a beautiful chain-like design around the ankle, completing the head-to-toe bridal look.
About this collection
I believe the quality of your henna is just as important as the design itself. I use 100% organic, triple-sifted henna paste, which is completely chemical-free, to ensure you get that deep, dark, and long-lasting stain. Whether you are looking for a dense, traditional bridal look or something modern with negative space, my process focuses on precision to ensure every line is clean and every motif stands out.
My approach to mehendi is rooted in storytelling. I love taking classic elements—like the grace of a peacock or the symmetry of a lotus—and weaving them into patterns that feel personal to you.
My Style & Techniques
I specialize in what I call the 'Bhari' or dense style. This creates a rich, full look that is perfect for weddings. I balance this with modern touches, such as negative space, fine-line detailing for fingers, and clean grids. If you look closely at my work, you will see how I combine traditional Indian motifs like jharokhas and domes with intricate, modern mandala art to give you the best of both worlds.
Personalization & Custom Art
Your mehendi should be uniquely yours. I love customizing designs to include the details that matter to you. This might mean hiding your partner's name or a special date in the mesh work, or going for a premium design that includes hand-drawn portraits of the couple. I take the time to draft these elements with you, ensuring that the final design is a piece of art that reflects your journey.
The Process
For bridal appointments, I focus on a relaxed experience. Whether it is a full arm design extending to the bicep or a delicate ankle-to-toe pattern, I use 0.3mm fine tips to ensure high-definition results. Proper aftercare is part of the package—I use a lemon-sugar sealant and eucalyptus oil to help that color darken beautifully. If you have a specific vision in mind, let’s discuss it so we can create something that you will truly cherish.
