Lalith's Nature Highlights & Hidden Gems

A collection of raw moments, quiet mornings, and chance encounters from my trails around Bengaluru. These shots are just pieces of my journey that felt real.

About this collection

These snapshots aren't just 'extra' photos; they are the quiet, unplanned moments from my mornings at places like Sanky Tank and Jakkar Lake. While I love the big, dramatic wildlife shots, sometimes the best story is in a simple branch silhouette or the way the light hits a leaf at dawn, captured on my Nikon D3500 without the rush of a planned expedition.

Nature photography isn't always about the rare, high-action encounter that makes it to the portfolio. Most of my work happens when I am just wandering, observing, and waiting for the light to turn right.

This cluster is a mix of those candid, experimental frames. You will see shots where I was testing a new editing style, playing with macro textures, or simply documenting the mood of a rainy forest day.

Why these shots matter

  • Real Bengaluru: From urban lakes to rocky outskirts like Ramanagara, these photos show the actual landscape I trek through.
  • The Edit: Many of these are test beds for my post-processing. Since I believe 80% of the magic happens after the click, I use these to practice color grading and mood enhancement.
  • Gear Reality: Most of these were shot with my trusty Nikon D3500 and a 300mm lens. It is not about having top-tier kit; it is about how you choose to see the subject when no one is watching.

Whether it is a bird caught in a silhouette or a macro detail of a rock agama, these photos show that you do not need a 'big' subject to tell a meaningful story. If you are looking for a photographer who appreciates the quiet details as much as the grand spectacle, let’s talk.

I am Lalith. For me, photography isn't about getting the perfect shot every single time; it's about the morning ride on my Activa, the quiet, and finding peace in the wild. I spend more time editing and waiting than I do clicking, and these snapshots are just honest pieces of that process.
