The French Touch Method: High-Performance On-Court Tennis Training
Experience the French Touch Method in Mumbai. We bring the rigor, intensity, and volume of our elite academy in France to help you master your technique and build a competitive game for professional and collegiate levels.
Our method is based on four key principles: Rigor, Intensity, Repetition, and Volume. This structured approach ensures our players develop the skills and consistency needed to achieve their objectives efficiently and effectively.
A powerful serve is a game-changer in competitive tennis. Here, one of our dedicated student-athletes demonstrates the explosive technique and focus we cultivate through our high-performance training program at the Mumbai academy.

Mastering the two-handed backhand requires precise mechanics and timing. We work closely with each player to refine their technique, ensuring they have a complete arsenal of shots to compete effectively in U.S. college recruitment matches.
Repetition is key to muscle memory. This video shows a basket drill session where a player hones his groundstrokes with a coach providing a high volume of balls, reinforcing proper form and consistency.
The ball toss is a critical component of a reliable serve. Here, a player practices his toss placement under the watchful eye of our coaches, focusing on the small details that make a big difference in a match.

About The French Touch Method: On-Court Training
Our training is built on a high-volume schedule because consistency is what wins matches. You will undergo a mandatory 4-week diagnostic phase, where we split 6 hours daily between intensive morning technical drills and afternoon tactical play. We prioritize immediate video analysis on the court to correct stroke mechanics and footwork before bad habits become permanent.
The French Touch Method is not just a training system; it is a philosophy of hard work and elite development. Our curriculum is built on four core pillars: Rigor, Intensity, Repetition, and Volume.
The Four Pillars of Training
- Rigor: We demand discipline in every movement. Whether you are hitting a two-handed backhand or practicing your ball toss, every action must be executed with precision.
- Intensity: Our court sessions are designed to simulate match pressure. You will not just be hitting; you will be competing for every point.
- Repetition: This is how we build muscle memory. Our basket drills ensure you hit hundreds of balls daily to make your shots automatic, even under extreme fatigue.
- Volume: We train for the long haul. A full-time schedule, which can exceed 30 hours per week, ensures you are physically and mentally prepared for the demands of the pro circuit and U.S. college tennis.
Why Our Approach Works
We combine the tactical wisdom of our Indian coaching team with the structural methodology brought from our Cap d'Agde headquarters in France. Our training isn't one-size-fits-all. We track your progress, analyze your match data, and adjust your routine based on your actual performance on court. Whether you are aiming for an AITA national ranking or a pathway to a U.S. college, we provide the environment, the surface versatility, and the professional feedback necessary to get there. The path to becoming a champion is built on this daily grind.
The French Touch Academy
We are the French Touch Academy, bringing the same training ideology from our base in France to Mumbai. We don't believe in sugarcoating the work required; we believe in building players who have the grit, technique, and tactical awareness to compete at the highest level. If you are serious about your future in tennis, we are ready to work.
