When deciding on your wedding cake design, the choice between buttercream and fondant often comes down to Mumbai's climate and your flavor preferences. I love working with Swiss Meringue buttercream for its smooth texture and rich taste, which holds up beautifully in our humidity. If you have a specific 3D theme or complex structure in mind that requires fondant, we can blend techniques to ensure the design stays perfect from the first look to the cake-cutting moment.
Every wedding has a vibe, and I am here to make sure your cake matches it perfectly. Since I run a kitchen out of Chembur, I prioritize freshness in every tier I bake.
Designing Your Cake
We start by chatting about your style. Are you leaning towards minimalist florals, a gold-leafed tiered showstopper, or something with a personal touch like a custom monogram topper? If you have an invitation card design or a specific color palette from your event decor, bring it to our consultation. I love incorporating those subtle details into the frosting textures and sugar work.
Flavor & Structure
For multi-tiered cakes, I recommend selecting flavor profiles that complement each other. My personal favorites for wedding season are chocolate salted caramel and lemon blueberry, but we can also do seasonal classics like mango or a rich praline. I use reinforced internal doweling and support systems for all my tiered creations, so you never have to worry about stability, even if you are having a destination celebration within the Mumbai Metropolitan Area.
Planning Ahead
Because I limit the number of wedding orders to ensure every detail gets my full attention, I recommend reaching out as soon as your date is fixed. If you are ordering a complex structure with lighting or rotating mechanisms, let's connect at least a few weeks early to map out the engineering.
