Behind the scenes of a new promotional ad shoot. I am directing the actors and coordinating with the camera operator to capture the perfect walking shot, ensuring the movement looks natural and dynamic on screen.
This was a big project for a company's Founder's Day event. The video shows my team and me in the early stages, from client meetings to teaching the choreography to employees in their Noida office.
About Ad Film & Corporate Choreography
When I work on ad films or corporate projects, I focus on the camera first. I am not just teaching dance steps; I am managing how your team or actors move within the frame to match the lighting and camera tracking. I spend time on-location to understand the set layout, so we don't waste time correcting mistakes once the camera is rolling.
Directing Movement for the Camera
Commercial choreography is a different discipline from stage or wedding dance. When a camera is involved, every movement is amplified. My job is to bridge the gap between 'just dancing' and looking professional on screen.
My Process
- Scene Blocking: Before a single dancer steps forward, I map out exactly where everyone stands. This ensures the choreography works with the set lighting and camera paths, not against them.
- Body Language Coaching: For corporate films, natural posture and walking styles are as important as any dance move. I coach individuals to look comfortable and confident in front of the lens.
- On-Set Adaptability: Sets change, lighting shifts, and schedules get tight. I am there to adjust routines on the fly so production stays on track without sacrificing the visual quality.
