Music Video and Ad Film Direction
I do not just choreograph; I build the entire visual story. Here is a look at my recent directorial work for music videos and commercial films.
I am excited to share the poster for a song I directed, "Kali Kali Zulfon Ke". For this project, I was in charge of the entire video direction, from the concept to the final cut.
Another look at my directorial project, "Kali Kali Zulfon Ke". As a director, I focus on the complete picture, ensuring the music, performance, and visuals all come together to tell a compelling story.
About Directing & New Projects
Directing a music video is different from a live stage show. For a camera, every angle matters. When I direct, I am thinking about lighting, costume flow, and how the artist’s energy translates on screen. It is not just about dancing well; it is about making sure the final frame captures exactly what the music feels like.
People often ask me if choreography and direction are the same thing. The short answer is no. Choreography is about the movement, but direction is about the final picture on screen. When I started handling full directorial projects, my focus shifted to the entire visual narrative.
Whether we are shooting in Noida Film City or on location in Jaipur, the process remains consistent. It starts with a storyboard. I do not just want a dance routine; I want the framing to tell a story. For music videos, this means aligning the singer's vibe, the actor's expressions, and the camera movement. My work with T-Series on 'Dhokha' taught me how to handle high-pressure sets where every second costs money.
If you are planning an indie music video or a brand ad film, here is how I help:
- Conceptualization: I build the narrative arc before we even touch a camera.
- Set Dynamics: I coordinate between the DOP, lighting, and artists to ensure the movement does not clash with the lens.
- Performance Coaching: I work with actors to ensure their body language is natural, not staged.
I keep things practical. If the budget is tight, we focus on high-impact hook steps and clever camera angles. If it is a large-scale project, I bring in my full crew to manage large group formations. My goal is to save you the stress and give you a final cut that works.
