Flamenco is more than just a dance; it is a spiritual practice. Every year, I return to my teachers in Granada and Madrid to dive deep into the roots of this art form, bringing that raw, authentic energy back to my students in India.

This is a tour of my first Flamenco institution, my temple, Carmen de las Cuevas in Granada. It's a place with deep history and soul, where my journey began eleven years ago and where I feel I was reincarnated as an artist.

In Granada, inspiration is everywhere. This is me practicing on a rooftop in the historic Albayzin neighborhood, with the sun, the city, and the spirit of Flamenco fueling my movement.

A quiet moment in the Sacromonte neighborhood of Granada, home to the famous gypsy caves. The entire area vibrates with the history and energy of Flamenco, and you can feel it in the air.

Arriving at my temple in Madrid, the legendary Amor de Dios studio. It's always an emotional and nostalgic feeling to be back in this space, which is a hub for the world's Flamenco community.

A session from inside the caves of Carmen de las Cuevas in Granada. The energy and acoustics in these historic spaces are completely different, allowing for a deeper, more intimate connection to the dance.

A throwback to my first year in Granada, studying with my maestro Juan Andrés Maya. This video captures my final class and the emotional goodbye, showing the deep family-like bond I formed with my teachers.

A very special moment for me, getting my 10th-anniversary poster signed by my maestros Maria Juncal and Alfonso Losa. Their guidance at Amor de Dios in Madrid has completely transformed me as an artist.

About My Journey to Spain: Learning from the Masters

When I train in Spain, I am not just learning steps. I am learning to listen to the rhythm and understand the compás. In my classes, we don't just move our feet, we learn to treat the studio like a temple. Whether you are a beginner or looking to refine your zapateado, expect a space that focuses on technique, posture, and that raw, gypsy energy.
