Our Community and Events at Kumon Jayanagar

Learning can feel isolating if it is just a child and a desk. That is why I make an effort to build a real community here in our 7th Block space. Whether we are decorating the center for Deepavali or taking a moment to appreciate the local culture during Karnataka Rajyotsava, these events help bridge the gap between academic pressure and a healthy, fun environment. It helps students see that their peers are working through the same challenges, which naturally builds camaraderie. My goal is to create a 'third place'—somewhere between school and home—where students feel comfortable enough to ask questions, celebrate progress, and develop the confidence to tackle tougher concepts. It is this sense of belonging that keeps kids excited to come back to their daily practice, week after week.
