Independent Learning at Kumon Jayanagar
Welcome to our 7th Block center, where we don't just teach math and English—we help children become confident, independent thinkers who actually enjoy the process of learning.
My goal is to help your child develop the focus and motivation to start their work on their own, without reminders. This video shows how daily practice with our digital and physical worksheets builds responsibility and problem-solving skills.
I always start by understanding your child's unique abilities, not just their age or grade. In this video, I explain how our initial diagnostic test helps me create a personalized learning plan that builds them up from a comfortable starting point.
This is the transformation I aim for. We shift the focus from "I need help" to "I'll figure it out," building the kind of real confidence that comes from solving problems independently.
It's amazing to see what even our youngest learners can achieve. This video shows a three-year-old developing fine motor skills, enjoying worksheets, and practicing visual identification, proving it's never too early to build a love for learning.

Our Kumon Connect program brings our proven self-learning method to a digital tablet. This makes daily practice even more accessible and allows for consistent learning, as shown by this student proudly displaying her work.

How We Approach Learning
I always begin with a diagnostic test to find your child's just-right level. We don't judge a child based on their school grade or age; we look at their current ability. This creates a personalized path that builds confidence rather than overwhelming them.
The Daily Routine
We focus on daily practice. Whether it's math or our reading program, consistency turns learning into a habit. You’ll notice the change at home—less nagging about homework, and more self-driven progress. Our students learn to manage their time, focus on tasks, and take ownership of their studies.
In-Center vs. Digital
Classes run at our Jayanagar 7th Block center with two in-center sessions per week. However, we also offer the Kumon Connect digital option for families who need more flexibility. Your child can complete their daily worksheets on a tablet, which makes consistent practice possible even on busy days or when traveling.
Our Community
We aren't just an after-school program; we are a community. We celebrate festivals like Deepavali and Kannada Rajyotsava together, and we mark student milestones with annual award ceremonies.
