Since I use soft, 100% cotton cords for these nursery pieces, safety and texture are my top priorities. When you order a personalized name cloud or rainbow, I carefully mount the macrame onto sturdy, gesso-primed MDF bases, ensuring that every knot stays tight and secure even in a bustling kid's room.
Why choose macrame for a nursery? It offers a soft, tactile experience that feels much warmer than standard plastic decor. I hand-knot every piece, so you get something truly one-of-a-kind. Whether you want a pastel rainbow to match your crib sheets or a lion face with your baby’s name, we can work together to figure it out.
My process is all about customization. I use eco-friendly cotton cords that are gentle to touch. For name hangings, I prep the MDF base with gesso for a smooth, clean finish before attaching the macrame elements. If you have a specific colour palette for the room—maybe a boho theme or specific bright shades—just let me know. I can incorporate those colours into the rainbow arches or the lion's mane to make sure it fits perfectly.
