I started Knotanaffair because I love turning simple cotton cords into something special. From custom nursery decor to bulk event favors, here is a showcase of the projects that keep me busy and smiling.
This vibrant, multi-colored sling bag is one of my favorite creations! It’s a real head-turner and shows just how much fun you can have with custom colors. Each bag is knotted by hand with soft, eco-friendly cotton cords and can be made in any color combination you can dream of.

I love making special pieces like this macrame lion wall hanging for a little one named Veer. Creating personalized decor for a nursery or kid's room is so rewarding. I can customize these with any name and color scheme to make a truly unique and cherished gift.
For a more elegant and chic look, I created this beautiful turquoise sling bag. It can be used as a clutch or a purse and shows the versatile side of macrame. The intricate knotting and fringe detail make it a statement piece for any occasion.
There's nothing better than seeing my creations being loved! Here’s a pretty macrame rose flower hairband on a happy little customer. My hairbands are soft, comfortable for all-day wear, and perfect for both kids and adults.
This is my biggest project so far, a set of two 7-foot macrame curtains! I added the baked clay colored tassels as a custom touch for the client. This shows the scale of work I can handle for home decor, perfect for creating a statement piece in your space.
Looking for something hatke for your haldi ceremony? I made these custom macrame slippers, adorned with seashells and pearls, for a bride-to-be. They are perfect for beach weddings or any festive occasion where you want a unique, handmade accessory.
About this collection
Every piece you see here is hand-knotted using soft, eco-friendly cotton cords, so you will never find any plastic or synthetic materials in my work. When I take on bulk orders, I personally handle every knot, which is why even simple items like keychains take 30 to 40 minutes each. This means that while your items will look consistent, each one carries a unique touch, and I can adjust the colors or sizes specifically to match your event theme.
My Approach to Macrame
I believe macrame is for everyone. Whether it is a tiny bag charm or a massive 7-foot curtain for your living room, I love the process of turning a spool of rope into something that adds warmth to a space. Because I work from my home studio in Bengaluru, I have the flexibility to experiment with designs and colors that you might not find in mass-produced decor.
