I don't believe in forcing smiles or rushing through poses. The sitter stage is unpredictable—some days they are full of giggles, and other days they just want to explore the studio floor. My approach is to wait it out and let your baby’s mood lead the session. Whether they are feeling shy or energetic, we follow their rhythm, ensuring we capture genuine expressions rather than stiff, uncomfortable portraits.
Capturing the 'In-Between' Milestone
Around 6 to 9 months, your baby undergoes a massive transformation. They go from lying down to interacting with the world, and suddenly, they have a distinct personality. This is the sitter stage. It is often shorter than parents realize, which is why I focus on capturing the small details—those dimpled knuckles, the way they focus on a toy, and that pure, uninhibited curiosity.

- Outfit Flexibility: My studio is stocked with outfits sized for 6-12 month-olds, so you do not have to stress about sourcing tiny clothes.
- Safety First: Sitter sessions can be active. While I am behind the camera, I always have an assistant present to spot the baby, ensuring they are safe while they experiment with sitting up.
Beyond the Digital File
I believe these moments are too precious to be lost in your phone gallery. After our session, I spend a few weeks hand-editing each image to ensure the colors are perfect and the skin is soft. If you choose, we can turn your favorite captures into handcrafted coffee table books or canvas prints.
