Grand Ganpati Pandal Installations
I transform your Ganpati mandal into an immersive world. From mystical jungles to celestial skies, I hand-paint custom backdrops live on-site to bring your chosen theme to life.
The final look of this celestial-themed Ganpati pandal. The murti appears to be floating through the clouds, an effect created by the hand-painted backdrop of the moon and a floor covered in cotton to look like clouds.
Another angle of the night sky theme, showing how the painted backdrop and the ceiling with stars create a complete 360-degree experience. The lighting is key to making the colors pop and the scene feel alive.
A wide shot of the pandal, showing the scale of the installation. The entire room, from the floor to the ceiling, is part of the artwork, creating a truly immersive environment for devotees visiting the mandal.
This video gives a glimpse into the hard work behind the scenes. It shows my team using spray guns to create the cloud effects and working on scaffolding to paint the massive moon backdrop for this Ganpati pandal.
A behind-the-scenes look at the work in progress. You can see me on the scaffolding, adding details to the night sky as the grand Ganpati murti is being set up. It's a race against time, but the energy is amazing.
A close-up of the hand-painted moon. Creating a realistic texture on such a large scale requires specific techniques. This became the central focus of the backdrop for the celestial-themed Ganpati decoration.
The reality of creating large-scale art. The pandal is our workshop, filled with paint, tools, and scaffolding. Every piece is created live on-site just before the festival begins.
The final view of the Dattatreya Ganesh pandal. The jungle theme extends across all walls, with a deep blue lighting scheme to create the feeling of a mystical forest at night, perfect for the serene deity.
A side view of the jungle-themed installation. You can see how the painted manjarpat cloth covers the walls entirely, with details like ancient trees and foliage creating a sense of depth and tranquility.
A detailed shot of the jungle backdrop for the Dattatreya Ganesh. I focused on creating layers of foliage and a mystical water body to signify the life force of nature, a central part of this theme.
About Grand Ganpati Pandal Installations
We don't just put up a backdrop; we transform the entire space using professional-grade acrylics on traditional manjarpat cloth. My team and I work on-site, painting live on scaffolding to ensure every ceiling detail and wall mural flows seamlessly, turning your pandal into a truly sacred environment.
When you choose a custom pandal installation, you are not just getting a painting; you are creating an environment for devotees. I specialize in large-scale murals, often over 100 sq. ft., that cover walls and ceilings to create a 360-degree experience. My process starts with understanding the theme, whether it is a Dattatreya jungle or a celestial night sky, and then my team takes over the space. We work on-site, typically over 3 to 5 days, often climbing scaffolding to reach high corners. We use manjarpat (cotton) cloth because it holds paint beautifully and offers a natural, textured look that feels right for the festival. We focus on high-contrast, vibrant acrylics that respond well to RGB lighting, making the paintings pop during the evening aarti. This is live, collaborative art. It is a bit of a rush, but there is a special energy in painting while the idol is being set up. Note that our price per sq. ft. covers the artistic execution and materials. You will need to arrange the scaffolding and structural framework before we arrive, and we will handle the artistic transformation.
