This project was very special. I recreated the Shivrajyabhishek Sohala (Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's coronation) for a home Ganpati. The video shows my process, from sketching on the wall to the final, grand installation.

I create these backdrops using traditional manjarpat cloth, which provides a beautiful, soft texture that catches light perfectly in home settings. Because this is rolled artwork rather than rigid board, you can easily pin or tape it to your walls to create a complete scene without needing to alter your home structure.
Every Ganpati setup I paint starts with a conversation about the mood you want to create.
