About Outdoor & Lifestyle Shoots
When shooting outdoors, I prioritize the specific time of day—like golden hour or the softer light at dusk—to get natural warmth without heavy editing. Whether it’s a rooftop terrace or a poolside setting, I frame the environment to tell a story, making the location a character in your shoot rather than just a background.
My approach to outdoor and lifestyle photography is built on collaboration. Before we arrive at the location, we discuss the narrative we want to build. Are we aiming for a high-energy commercial campaign or a soft, moody portrait series?
For lifestyle shoots in Bengaluru, I often use light modifiers to manage harsh midday sun, ensuring skin tones look accurate and shadows do not distract from the subject. I have shot everywhere from urban terraces to resort pools, adapting my lens kit to the scale and needs of the space.
Beyond the shoot day, my process includes high-end retouching. I do not use generic filters. I focus on frequency separation and precise color grading to ensure the final images are ready for magazines, billboards, or your social media feed.
