Editorial and Conceptual Fashion Photography
Bold, narrative-driven imagery. I work with designers and brands to create high-impact campaigns, often stepping outside the studio to find unexpected, cinematic backdrops.
A wide shot from the marble factory campaign, showing the scale of the industrial environment. Placing the model in this vast space creates a striking contrast and a sense of grandeur, perfect for a high-impact editorial.
A group shot for an international marble company, where the models' poses and high-fashion gowns complement the artistic textures of the marble backdrops. This demonstrates my ability to manage and direct a team for complex campaign imagery.
This image from the marble factory shoot combines raw industrial elements with high fashion. The composition uses the factory equipment to frame the models, creating a dynamic and unconventional fashion photograph.
A full-length shot against a wall of circular marble samples, playing with pattern and texture. The model's pose and avant-garde styling create a visually interesting and artistic fashion statement.
Another perspective from the conceptual marble factory shoot, highlighting the scale of the raw materials. The model is positioned atop massive marble blocks, creating a powerful image of strength and elegance.
An elegant indoor shot from the marble company campaign, where the model's gown mimics the patterns of the polished marble wall. This image showcases a sophisticated approach to integrating the product into a fashion narrative.
This shot uses a book-matched marble slab as a dramatic, symmetrical backdrop. The model's pose and the dress's texture create a harmonious composition, blending art, architecture, and fashion.
Juxtaposing a high-fashion look with an industrial vehicle for a commercial shoot. This kind of creative thinking helps brands create unique and memorable campaign images.
A profile shot that emphasizes the avant-garde headpiece and the texture of the gown against a backdrop of black and white marble. The lighting is sculpted to highlight the model's form and the dramatic styling.
A creative composition from the marble factory shoot, using industrial machinery as a framing device. The contrast between the soft yellow tulle and the hard metal creates a compelling visual story.
About Editorial & Conceptual Campaigns
Take the marble factory series you see here. It was not just about finding a gritty location, but about balancing the raw, industrial texture of the stone with high-fashion silhouettes. When we plan these shoots, we focus on that specific tension. We use lighting to make the garment pop against the cold, hard environment. If you have a brand or a collection that needs a story rather than just a product shot, let us talk about how to construct that look.
My approach to editorial and conceptual campaigns is built on preparation and collaboration. Every project starts with a conversation about your mood board and the specific narrative you want to convey. Whether it is for a magazine feature like Filmfare or a high-end commercial campaign, the goal is to produce images that stand out.
The Process
- Planning: I handle the pre-shoot consultation, scouting locations, and coordinating the team. If you have a specific vision, we walk through the logistics to ensure the execution matches the concept.
- Lighting: I use advanced multi-light setups, including off-camera flash and cinematic modifiers, to create mood and depth.
- Retouching: Post-production is a critical part of my workflow. Every image undergoes professional-grade editing, including frequency separation for skin texture, dodge and burn for lighting control, and precise color grading to achieve a magazine-quality finish.
Collaboration
I regularly work with a team of professional stylists, makeup artists, and models. If you are starting from scratch or have an existing crew, I am flexible and happy to jump in at any stage of the production. My focus is on creating a finished product that looks intentional, powerful, and ready for a billboard or a magazine spread.
