About Travel & Documentary Photography
How I See Things
For me, photography is always about showing what's real. I like catching those moments that aren’t staged - the kind that make you stop and think, "that actually happened." Whether it’s a huge crowd at a festival, or just one person doing something ordinary, there’s always a story tucked inside.
What I Actually Do
If you want photos that do more than just look nice, you’re in the right place. I focus on narrative-driven documentary work - it's about telling the story of a place or people, not just snapping away. Here’s how I work:
- Cultural event photography, especially at festivals and big gatherings
- Street photography stories from daily life
- Moments as they unfold, no fake poses
Into the Thick of It
I once went to Varanasi for the Maha Kumbh. I’m not super spiritual, but being there was intense - so many faces, so much energy. To really show what it was about, I got close - even jumped into the river with everyone else. Genuine stuff, not just what you see from far away. My favorite shots? Authentic travel portraits of the sadhus, full of raw emotion.
My Style
I go for moody, atmospheric visual style. I want you to feel something when you look at my photos. I do my own retouching, but I’m more into capturing real emotion than making things look perfect. I’m based in Bengaluru, but I’ll travel wherever your story takes me.

My Story
Hey, I’m Kiran from Bengaluru. I shoot portraits and fashion, but honestly, I’m always chasing that raw, real moment, like the vibe I felt at Maha Kumbh in Varanasi. I’m not big on spirituality, but the energy there was wild, unforgettable. That’s what I want in my photos – something that feels true, not just pretty. Every frame, I’m hunting for the real story.
