About this collection
When we shoot outdoors in Bengaluru, I do not rely on heavy lighting rigs. We chase the golden hour or find shadow patterns in urban spots. You have to be comfortable with a bit of chaos because that is where the most authentic expressions happen, whether we are in a park or by a resort pool.
Why Natural Light Matters
The best lighting setup in the world cannot replicate what the sun does at 4 PM. In my outdoor sessions, we prioritize raw textures and depth. I look for environments that talk back to the camera. It might be the rough stone of a park bench, the ripple of a pool, or the chaotic green of city gardens.
How I Handle Outdoor Shoots
We do not just take photos at a location. We scout for mood. Whether it is a Faded Blossom vibe in a local garden or the sharp, high fashion energy of a poolside shoot, the environment dictates the aesthetic. I handle the directing and the camera. You just need to bring your attitude. If you are shy about shooting in public, do not worry. Most of the time, the environment is just background noise for our focus.
Practical Stuff You Should Know
- Permits and Locations: While I know many spots across Bengaluru, some venues might require prior booking or entry fees. If you have a specific location in mind, tell me early.
- Timing: For natural light, we are at the mercy of the sun. We start early or we aim for the golden hour. If you arrive late, we lose the light, and that is on you.
- Comfort: Outdoor shoots are less controlled than the studio. Dress in layers, bring comfortable footwear for moving around, and be ready to work for the shot.
