About Behind the Scenes & My Studio: A Glimpse into My World
When you walk into my studio in Maple Plaza, it isn't just about the backdrops or the camera gear. It is about a space designed specifically to keep your baby safe, warm, and calm while we capture those fleeting first moments. I have carefully selected every prop, wrap, and setting to ensure your family feels as relaxed as they would at home.
Photography is more than just clicking a button. It is about creating an environment where a newborn feels secure or a toddler feels free to play. My studio, White Oak Pictures in Bhattakuffer, Shimla, was built with exactly this in mind.
My Certification
I am proud to be the first certified maternity, newborn, and kids photographer in Himachal Pradesh. This training is not just a badge; it means I follow rigorous international safety standards for handling infants. Whether it is how I wrap a baby or how I position them for a photo, their comfort and safety are always my priority.
The Studio Experience
Unlike open-plan spaces, my studio provides a controlled, cozy environment.
- Temperature Control: Keeping the studio warm for newborn comfort.
- Prop Library: Access to various wraps, floral baskets, and themed setups for birthdays or maternity shoots.
- Privacy: A dedicated changing room and vanity area so you can prepare for your session with ease.
If you prefer the outdoors, I also travel to locations like the Glen or local pine forests, but the studio remains my favorite place for those classic, clean portraits. It is a controlled playground where we can experiment with boho themes or simple, minimalist styles without worrying about wind, rain, or distractions. Every session includes an initial consultation where we discuss your vision, so by the time you arrive, everything is already set for your family.
