Unique and Custom Mehndi Designs in Bengaluru
Your mehndi should tell your own story. Whether it is a portrait of your family, a nod to your favorite hobby, or a symbol of your love, I draw custom motifs that are personal to you.
This Rakshabandhan design is a perfect example of custom figure work. I drew a portrait of the client with her brother to capture a special memory right on her hand, complete with their names.
Your mehndi can be a reflection of what you love. This client is a big fan of chai, so I designed this playful and unique art of a teapot and cup just for her, including her name 'Ankita'.
For religious festivals, I can create divine portraits. This custom Radha-Krishna figure was designed for Janmashtami, capturing a moment of devotion and love in the form of henna art.
About Unique & Custom Motifs
When we plan your custom design, I prefer to sit with you beforehand to look at the photos or motifs you want to include. Because fine-line work for portraits takes steady hands and time, it is best to decide on these elements at least a week before your event so I can sketch the layout properly and ensure the organic henna stain is perfect for your big day.
I do not believe in standard, one-size-fits-all mehndi. Your hands are the canvas for your personal story. Whether you want a portrait of your family, your pet, or even something unique like your favorite chai teapot, I am here to draw it.
My process for custom work starts with a conversation. I ask my clients to share reference photos for portraits so I can practice the details before I arrive. This ensures the fine lines for the bride and groom's faces are sharp and recognizable.
I use 100% skin-safe, organic henna that I prepare myself. This is especially important if you have sensitive skin or if you are planning mehndi for a baby shower (Godh Bharai). The stain develops into a deep maroon, which is the result of using quality, triple-sifted henna powder.
Beyond portraits, I love working on thematic storytelling designs. This includes hidden elements like your wedding date, hashtags, or specific symbols that represent how you met. If you are celebrating a festival like Janmashtami or Rakshabandhan, I can create divine motifs or brother-sister portraits that make the celebration feel more intimate.
If you have a design in mind that you have seen online or just a rough idea in your head, feel free to show me. We can sit down, discuss the placement, and build a design that feels right for you.
